health educator

 Duties and responsibilities:
Collaborate with health specialists and civic groups to determine community health needs and the availability of services, and to develop goals for meeting needs.
Designs and implements health education programs designed to increase awareness and knowledge for the improvement of health in a community. Keeps up to-date on changes in health care technology to keep health education program material current. May require a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others.
SALARY:   $50,259-$67,75

EDUCATION :  Although a bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement, it is common for health educators to hold master's degrees. Some programs are offered in the Master of Public Health or Master of Education format. In addition to education courses, students in this field tend to take classes in human development, psychology and social work.
REFLECTION : people who are health educator usually aren’t  able to grap an audience’s attention to give them informative about being aware and knowing how your body works
